Ciao is an informal salutation in the Italian language that is used for both "hello" and "goodbye". 

Ciao! Mobile Pizzeria is a locally owned mobile pizzeria on wheels serving quality focused Neo-Neapolitan style pizzas, traditional Sicilian street food, crafted desserts and MUCH more!

Okay - so what's the difference in "Traditional Neapolitan" pizza & "Neo-Neapolitan" pizza you may ask? Well lets dive in:

Neapolitan pizza, or pizza Napoletana, is a type of pizza that originated in Naples, Italy. This style of pizza is prepared with simple and fresh ingredients: a basic dough, raw tomatoes, fresh mozzarella cheese, fresh basil, and olive oil. No fancy toppings are allowed! 

Neo-Neapolitan pizza refers to a pie that takes its basic inspiration and baking process from the authentic Neapolitan pizza, but pushes the flavors and ingredients into new and exciting directions that are outside of the strict Neapolitan tradition. We like our fancy toppings EXCEPT pineapple and ranch dressing - those are a firm NO on the toppings list here.

Jenn & Dan

Throughout their travels, their hearts seemed to stay in Italy (Dan's family's home turf) having eaten their way from the Northern Alps to the Sicilian coast. Throughout their travels in Italy, pizza was always present; giving the duo the opportunity to sample styles from all over the peninsula. After extended stays in both Napoli and Fierenzi, Dan & Jenn realized there was an opportunity to bring the flavors and culture of Italy back to Colorado. In the spring of 2020, the duo prepared to share these experiences in a brick-and-mortar restaurant in the Loveland/Fort Collins area.....Lo and behold, the COVID-19 pandemic had other plans. After some quick thinking, hard pivoting, and more than a little bit of cursing, the concept was transformed into CIAO! Mobile Pizzeria & Street Food. Dan & Jenn cannot wait to share their passion for good, traditional Neapolitan pizza, and Italian "street food" with the NoCo area. It's food inspired by our favorite memories, so you can create some of your favorite memories too.
